This meeting, and the Committee's work this year, will focus on the 2018 elections.

Committee Chairs Kim Moscaritolo and Matt LoCastro will report on efforts to work with other local Democratic Clubs, as well as outreach to activist groups in the Congressional Districts where the Committee has decided to focus its efforts. The Committee also will discuss efforts to recruit volunteers as we head into the 2018 election season.

Finally, the Committee will discuss opportunities to campaign against IDC senators -- New York State Senators who were elected as Democrats but who caucus with Republicans, giving Republicans control of New York's Senate.

The Committee also will discuss how the Club will participate in the March for Our Lives, which is being organized by Parkland, Florida students to promote common sense gun safety reforms.
