The Club voted to endorse a resolution supporting the passage of by New York City Council of bill 1130-A which seek to increase the power of small contributions in New York City elections through an increase in matching funds.

November 30, 2017

The Club voted to endorse a resolution endorsing the Baker-Shultz proposal as a starting point for the regulation of carbon-based fuels, and a list of healthcare "must-haves" that should be part of any healthcare legislation.

The Club voted to endorse a resolution calling for a special prosecutor and bipartisan investigative commission into Russian interference into the 2016 election, and whether to endorse a resolution in support of the New York Votes Act (A05312).

The Four Freedom Democratic Club hereby resolves that

1. The Democratic presidential nomination process should be reformed so that the Democratic nominee is chosen solely by delegates democratically elected for that purpose. Nothing in this resolution prevents the election of unpledged delegates as long as they are elected in a democratic process.

2. Superdelegates at the 2016 Democratic National Convention should initially vote for the Democratic candidate receiving the popular vote in the district, state, or territory they represent.
