76th District Part B District Leaders Adam Roberts and Kim Moscaritolo report on their recent activism:

This has been a very exciting summer in Upper East Side politics. Council Member Dan Garodnick, who represents district 4 is term-limited, and Four Freedoms has endorsed Keith Powers to succeed him. In district 5, Four Freedoms is behind Ben Kallos, a founding member of the club and current Council Member. For District Leader, Four Freedoms is supporting us for re-election in the 76th district Part B (Yorkville), and Esther Bernhard Yang and Ben Wetzler in the 76th district Part A (Lenox Hill and Roosevelt Island).

Led by our District Leaders and district leader candidates, volunteers have been out every morning and evening across the neighborhood. We are campaigning at street fairs, organizing phone banks, and sending letters to our neighbors. Our hardworking volunteers did get a much  needed break with a jammed-packed barbeque at Reif’s Tavern (pictured below). With the primary only a few days away on September 12, we’re focused now on Get Out the Vote Efforts (GOTV), which means ensuring that our supporters make it to the polls.
