  • Treasurer’s Report: The current account balance is $21,725.
  • Upcoming Meetings agenda:
    • March
      • Presentation from David Jones (timing TBD, Bob to provide)
      • Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee resolution for the Club t consider re: endorsement of the Hate Crimes Modernization Act
        • To be included in the newsletter ahead of the meeting.
      • Discussion of the social media guidelines
      • Update on Election petitioning and planning for summer and fall.
      • Update from the State Committee report by Erica and Jeremy.
      • Erica to provide update on the state of the State budget.

      • Aging in place forum – not confirmed yet. Amy to follow-up regarding length of the forum.
      • Judge Shah Ally's request to talk about Civil Court to the Club
        • Discussion to include operations and what we can offer and hear feedback, court efficiency discussion, community groups and boards.
        • Decision to reach out and ask for additional information and see if we can move this to the Fall.
      • Election Update

          • Rebecca Seawright petitioning with the club TBD.
          • Jerry to reach out to her to discuss on a date.
        • Planning for the summer and fall
      • Events
        • Lex Club St. Patrick’s event
          • We have 20 tickets; priority goes to the board and then decision to offer to working group leaders. Board members to
          • Amy to coordinate tickets with the working group chairs.
        • 10th anniversary of Club founding/ Spring Fundraiser
          • Venue under discussion: Liederkranz Club. Fully accessible and an elevator.
          • Kim to circulate the proposal to the board.
          • Discussion regarding ticket prices and host committee levels
          • Board voted to approve $20,062 for the budget. No opposition or abstentions.
          • Event Committee to have a follow-up and provide direction to board members regarding how best to get involved and support.
          • Debra to investigate a piano player.
        • Trivia event with Lex Club
          • Jordan to be the quiz master.
          • Set up; if you bring a completed petition sheet you get a free drink.
          • Event at Iggy’s
        • Family focused event in the Spring (Gabe to own)
        • Earth Day (April 20)
          • FFDC to partner with xx to support Earth Day event.
          • Plug at the March meeting.
        • Social Media Guidelines for Working Groups (attached)
          • Board to review and provide final edits by Monday.
          • Decision to then present the guidelines at the next General Meeting.
          • Discussion to have position statements from groups or club members.
            • Social Media Committee to discuss position statements.
          • Housing and Climate/Environment working Group member survey of coop/condo ownership. 
            • Climate / Environment discuss the impact of Law 97 on coop / condo ownership.
            • Decision to discuss path forward re: zoom
          • March 20 Amy Being Honored by Governor Hochul for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion1
          • Rally for Education Funding on Monday 18th 9:00 AM
